OUR HISTORY

My name is Teiva Cantiran and I am the proud founder and designer of the “SF” brand. Presenting my creations and innovations to you at the beginning of 2025 is a huge honor for me and, above all, a dream come true!

Before knowing where you're going, you have to know where you come from! I'm not comparing myself to Steve Jobs or Jeff Bezos and many others, but many of my first sails and windsurfers started in my parents' garage. My most beautiful creations didn't come from my garage at that young age, but this learning allowed me to get to where I am today with the Silence Foiling brand.

At first, it was purely manual work and elbow grease. I drew my sails using a pencil and paper, while using a huge flexible ruler to trace the curves while adjusting the darts by eye.

With technological advances and new software, my work has become more precise and, above all, has allowed me to save a huge amount of time.

2015 marks the beginning of a great adventure, a collaboration with the brand “Horue” with my first windfoil sail designs.

In 2020 my hard work and innovative ideas paid off as I created the entire Windsurf sail collection for the French company Nautix. Always wanting more, I decided to become a self-employed entrepreneur with the name Teiva Sails and began to manufacture various types of sails for boats, windsurfers, and sand yachts because, as we know, practice makes perfect! Secondly, the manufacture of wing sails began to emerge in my head and I began to manufacture them for different sports.

Being a windsurfer and wingfoiler myself, I was and still am the first beta tester of my creations. I am lucky to have many friends who practice board sports and my first feedback came from them and they do not mince their words and thank you to them because they are the ones who allowed me to move forward.

It was in 2021/2022 that I really dived into wing design, collaborating with Patrik on the famous Volant Cross V2. This booming sport gave me a blank page, an opportunity to push the boundaries and imagine the future of wingfoil.

Today, after two intense years of research and development, I am proud to present the fruit of this work: a range of products designed with our own design program, incorporating unique patented technology. Every wing we manufacture is the result of passion, vision, and a commitment to excellence.
